One of my favorite X-Men characters is Phoenix/Jean Grey and her villain counterpart Dark Phoenix. The Marvel Universe still fears the legacy of the Phoenix today but no one can get it quite right after writer Claremont ended his run writing for the comics. The character gets the crappy end of the stick (from modern writers who did not know what to do with a strong female) and she was one of the strongest female comic book characters ever! Still is!
Here is a more "modern" version of Dark Phoenix I put together. There are a couple phoenix outfits in SL, sady, one of the stores called Fashion Zombie is closed and the outfits are not on the Marketplace. I am lucky to have the garment but felt it would not be right to blog it. So I put together this dress and boots. The dress is from We <3 Role-Play by The Annex and the boots are by Phedora from The Coven. The hair is a new release by RunAway which will also be at WLRP. She now has fitted mesh verions for boobs in her hair packs and she always includes Omega and Standard hair bases too! The skin is gorgeous and is the exclusive Seed of Inspiration (SOI) by Glam Affair at The Gacha Garden. There are 4 different makeups in the exclusive set. All you have to do is pull 20 times to get it. Is it worth it?? HELL YES! It comes only in the Polar tone which works great for fantasy images and looks :)
